Covering Lowestoft, Carlton
Colville, Pakefield, Southwold, Reydon, Blythborough, Kessingland, Corton,
Hopton, Beccles etc. I also teach people from out of town who commute to
the Lowestoft Bus and Train stations then only need one hour lessons at a
time.

Hello and welcome to the A S C website.
There are no buttons to click or menus
just
keep scrolling down...

Here
is what you need to know...
I am in my 19th year teaching
in this area and am
grade six instructor (the highest grade possible).

ONLY £20
per HOUR!
Beware ! some
adverts ' per lesson ' are actually for 40 minutes. You can end up paying
over £30 per hour
The price range is wide but
remember - Very low prices are a sign of low grade Instructors who rely on
advertising low rates in the absence or referral from existing or past
customers. Sometimes, with out telling customers, Driving Schools employ PDIs
(Provisional Driving Instructors) who are not yet be qualified or,
worse still, may have already failed qualifying exams once...
Offers:
I tend not to advertise much.
I mostly rely on referral, however, I do,
for limited periods (at
the moment),
offer a referral incentive....
Ask for a voucher, put your
name and date on it, and when a new customer gives it to me on their first
lesson it will act as a £10 discount off your next lesson.

Why come to me? ......
A vast amount of
driving school cars you see have markers (bits of tape) stuck on steering
wheels, rear, side and front windows etc. They actually teach how many
turns of the wheel it takes to reverse around a bend, to 'line the kerb
up' with marker points stuck on to the windows and, often, don't teach
clutch (fine) control at all.
They teach how to pass the test (with luck) - not how to drive...
Everyone knows people who have passed, can't reverse or
park, seem confused and don't appear to have good control of the car.
That's what I mean when I say, 'you will learn how to DRIVE and not just
to pass the test'..
I will teach you
clutch control and how to judge reverses
and parks for your self so that you should feel confident when you are on
your own.

It's in two parts:
1st).
Multiple choice questions
50 questions
in 57 minutes and the pass mark is 43.
2nd).
Hazard Perception
14 video clips
where you have to press the mouse button when you see a hazard. You are
marked on how quickly you press it again when a hazard develops in to a
major hazard (from 1 to 5). Each clip has one major hazard and one of them has two.
You must score
44 marks out of a possible 75.

This is, in my opinion, the best all round help package you can get for
car and bike tests.
I used it my self recently to take a bike theory test.
Here's what you get...
*DSA = Driving Standards
Agency (The people who test you).
>The latest 2006-7 DSA
theory question bank,
>125 Hazard Video
clips,
>10 of the DSA's
own sample clips,
>The DSA Hazard
introduction video,
>50 Video
tutorials to watch for the Practical Driving Test,
>Show & Tell
questions (for when you'll be asked 2 questions before you drive off on
your practical Test),
>The latest
Digital version of the Highway Code and
>A full length
video Driving test to watch (to help you know what to expect on the day).
It
would cost a small fortune to get your hands on all
these bits separately.....
YOU CAN TAKE FULL THEORY AND HAZARD MOCK TESTS AGAIN AND
AGAIN THEN REVIEW WHAT YOU GOT WRONG AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE!
IMPORTANT: THIS IS A PC DVD i.e.
Your PC will need to have DVD capability..
You can pay
up to £15 for them. Look on Amazon.co.uk OR ebay.co.uk
- There are
sometimes much cheaper second hand ones for sale.
- Who do you
know that passed recently who may have a spare one?
I usually have a stock of them at £9.95
each
And I don't make a vast profit...
N.B. There is now a new '07 version out.
Watch this space...

After the test......
A six hour day course
involving motorway driving which is a qualification for insurance discount
with a large number if Insurance Companies. It can be taken up to two
years after you pass...
Past (passed)

Pass Plus schemel
